PISCES: Monthly Horoscope October 2019

This first week of October will be about your relationships: the ones you’ve kept, the ones you’ve let slip away, and the new ones you’ve recently made. September was all about establishing and refining partnership for you: single Pisces felt the pull of desire to be connected in an intimate way, while those of you who are partnered did some groundwork and evaluation on your current affairs.

Reflecting on how the people you let into your life transform your space and inner life is key to understanding who is of value in your life right now. As a Pisces, you are very sensitive to the people in your life and very susceptible to their influence. It is very important for you to be careful about who you let in, because those closest to you have a significant impact on your development at this time.

Pluto goes direct in your house of community and friendships on October 3rd, while Mars moves into your house of inner transformation on the 4th. You should be deliberate and intentional about your energy at this time. Pluto is refining your ability to actualize you r energy in this environment through your connection to community, so any false friends and superficial connections will fall away at this time.

It can feel difficult to move with these changes, as its painful to see people go, sometimes through no action on your part. The truth is that you won’t be able to hold on to connections that just aren’t meant for you anymore. Let it go with grace, and trust that space is being opened up for you to invite new energy into your life.

You may be trying to get some alone time this week, Pisces, but the stars just won’t let it!

On October 7ththe Sun in your 8thhouse is square Saturn in the 11th—you’d like to be spending time at home with a partner or intimate friend, reconnecting to what makes you feel inspired and energized. But with Saturn in your 11th, you have some commitments you made to friends or social events that just can’t be ignored.

It will be best for you to fulfill these duties to your community and connections, as there is a great opportunity for you in the social sphere at this time. You’re being dragged out of the house because a vibrant connection can be made on October 7thwhen Mercury is opposite Uranus, or October 12thwhen Venus is opposite Uranus.

Uranus in your third house represents the opportunity for inspiration and insight from acquaintances and new connections you make now. Even though you may feel like you already know everyone you want to know, or that people out in the real world are just too intense and chaotic for you, you’re being asked to take the chance and meet someone new. New connections offer the opportunity for taking a different point of view, and that’s exactly what you need now.

The Full Moon in Aries on October 13thwill show you the benefits of opening yourself up to new connections and your willingness to listen to new points of view in the form of a new opportunity to increase your revenue. If you want to make more money or feel adequately appreciated for your talents, this is the full moon to step into your power for self-creation.

Remember that new chapters in your life and career don’t just spring up from the ether—they are created by your willingness to participate with the energy around you and notice opportunities to step up. So take notice now, and choose your next move. However you chose to implement your skills can prove very fruitful for you in the next coming months.

You’re at the cusp of starting a new chapter after the Full Moon in Aries, starting with Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Uranus on October 14th.You have the opportunity to make some major and much needed changes in the space where you do business. If you are an entrepreneur, this is the week to tweak your home office or business location in order to attract new clients.

If you’ve been working a job you’re not particularly fond of, now is not the time to springboard onto a new opportunity, though it may feel like it. The Uranus aspect in this transit as well as Mercury-Neptune trine on October 15thcan make some very impulsive decisions, and you are especially sensitive to such transits. This is more about building up the seeds you’ve already put down, not throwing out the basket. Be careful if you have impulsive feelings this week, and don’t make any rash decisions.

You’ll end the week on a higher note if you take a small trip out of town—especially on October 20th, when Venus is sextile Saturn. You need a break from all of your responsibilities to people in your life who depend on you for advice, support, and care, and honestly, you might be feeling like you need some of that energy for yourself. Take it.

Restless energy abounds as Venus trines Neptune on October 21st, igniting a desire for something new, something exciting, and something different. Things may have started to feel monotonous lately, and the only cure for it is to push yourself a little further into something or someone you’ve been curiously eyeing.

Now will be the time to integrate a new skill into your practice, take a development course, or go on a short trip to meet a new teacher or guide. An out of town conference or training would suit your mood and will enliven your spirit, especially if it is scheduled around October 23rd, when Venus is sextile Pluto.

Take this igniting energy and turn it into something fruitful on the New Moon in Scorpio on October 27thYou can share your insights into your own emotional practice in the form of a healing modality, ability to listen, or offering of support to someone who is in need now.

We end the month with Halloween night! Should you participate, or should you stay in? And what is the appropriate costume to wear? Because Mercury goes retrograde in Scorpio on October 31st,you may be overthinking it a bit too much. Figure out how to participate (or not!) in a way that feels adventurous and fun. Perhaps try something new—if you feel overwhelmed by the expectations, have some friends over for a scary movie night.
